General description

The Camino de Santiago from Tui to Santiago marks the last stage of the Portuguese road . This route begins in the picturesque town of Tui , which is located at the border between Spain and Portugal , separated by the Miño River . From here, it is possible to cross from one country to another through the International Bridge .

During the tui A Santiago route, we will walk by leafy forests , traditional agricultural land and small rural villages , as well as by historical cities of great beauty.

On the way, we will reach the Galician coast, through Arcade , a town known for its famous Annual Oyster Festival . We can also enjoy the charming city of Pontevedra , famous for its old town full of impressive architecture.

Throughout the Rías Baixas , we will have the opportunity to taste the famous Albariño White Wine , one of the great enogastronomic jewels of the Galician region.

In addition, we will visit Padrón , the hometown of Rosalía de Castro , the Galician poet most emblematic of all time.
