General description
The second section of the Portuguese road takes us from the charming city of Santarém to the historic Coimbra, entering the heart of the Portuguese interior.
Throughout this route, we will travel a region with a deep cultural heritage and a serene agricultural landscape. The road crosses picturesque towns and cities full of history, such as take, with its templar legacy, and Coimbra, one of the oldest university cities in Europe.
Upon arriving at Coimbra, you cannot miss its prestigious University, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 2013. This section of the road combines nature, history and tradition, offering an authentic and enriching experience.
