We continue through pine forests and eucalyptus until we reach Carracedo and then cross the Fontenlo River by a medieval bridge.

We begin the last stage of our pilgrimage, which will take us from Padrón to the destination of all Ways: Santiago de Compostela.
We leave Padrón crossing the Sar river and continue along rural roads that cross small villages such as Iria Flavia, where we can visit the Collegiate Church of Santa María, former episcopal headquarters before it moved to Compostela.
The Way continues through A Escravitude, with its impressive Baroque Sanctuary, and continues towards O Milladoiro. As we approach Santiago, the emotion increases, especially when from the Alto do Milladoiro we can see for the first time the towers of the Santiago Cathedral in the distance.
The path descends to Santiago and we enter the city through the Conxo neighborhood. After touring its streets, we finally arrive at the Plaza del Obradoiro.

From Caldas de Reis, we begin our stage crossing the Umia River and we continue through a beautiful rural landscape dominated by forests and cultivated fields. The path rises gently to the town of Santa Mariña, offering beautiful views of the valley.
We continue through pine forests and eucalyptus until we reach Carracedo and then cross the Fontenlo River by a medieval bridge.
The route takes us to Padrón, a place with great significance in the Jacobean tradition, since according to legend, it was here that the boat that transported the body of the Apostle Santiago from Jerusalem arrived.
In Padrón, do not miss visiting the Church of Santiago, where the Pedrón is located, a stone where according to tradition they tied the boat with the body of the Apostle. You can also try their famous Padrón peppers, known by the saying "some are hot and others are not".

For those who prefer to enjoy the Way more peacefully, we can divide the stage from Padrón to Santiago de Compostela into two days. The first part takes us from Padrón to the picturesque village of Parada de Francos, where we will spend the night.
This break gives us the opportunity to calmly explore the beautiful landscapes and points of interest along the way, before continuing the next day towards our final destination, Santiago de Compostela.
The next day, after resting at Parada de Francos, we will continue our journey to Santiago de Compostela, arriving with renewed energy to experience the emotion of reaching the cathedral.

We begin the last stage of our pilgrimage, which will take us from Padrón to the destination of all Ways: Santiago de Compostela.
We leave Padrón crossing the Sar river and continue along rural roads that cross small villages such as Iria Flavia, where we can visit the Collegiate Church of Santa María, former episcopal headquarters before it moved to Compostela.
The Way continues through A Escravitude, with its impressive Baroque Sanctuary, and continues towards O Milladoiro. As we approach Santiago, the emotion increases, especially when from the Alto do Milladoiro we can see for the first time the towers of the Santiago Cathedral in the distance.
The path descends to Santiago and we enter the city through the Conxo neighborhood. After touring its streets, we finally arrive at the Plaza del Obradoiro.
Once in Santiago, do not forget to attend the Pilgrim's Mass and, if you are lucky, you can see the Botafumeiro in action, the famous giant censer that swings through the naves of the cathedral.

However, if you prefer to go in a group with a guide, we offer routes organized with accompanying guides in the section from Sarria to Santiago. These routes have guaranteed departures and are conducted in groups of maximum 15 people. The guides are trained to speak English and Spanish.

In general, the stages of the Camino de Santiago vary between 15 and 20 km. If you prefer to walk less distance, we can divide some stages into two parts, adjusting to your pace and needs.
Regardless of whether you are a sedentary person or if you exercise regularly, it is important to prepare yourself physically for the Camino de Santiago.
- For sedentary people: it is recommended to start with moderate activities, such as walking for 20 minutes, two or three times per week. As you progress, gradually increase the duration to walk about 4 to 5 kilometers per hour.
- For people with regular physical activity: you can start walking between 45 and 60 minutes a day, gradually increasing both time and distance.
Ideally, you should start training three months in advance to ensure good physical preparation.
